New York City Scenes

For a couple of centuries, New York has been a draw for artists and folks of all kinds, as a place for them to live, learn, and work - and sell their work.

I moved to NYC in the spring of 2000, right at the tailend of the dot-com era - it was an awesome time, full of optimism, energy, deal-making and living la vida loca.

Then came September 11. I saw it unfold live, including observing the impact of the second plane. Those images are forever burned into my mind, and there is no need to repeat them here.

Yet I want to share (and celebrate) the moments and scenes that make NYC unique, from being stuck in traffic while the cab meter is running, to doing the touristy thing of visiting the Statue of Liberty.

Follow me & enjoy.
